Teacher Training Manual & Activity Book
for a series of workshops initiated by OPP RTI and implemented by Vasl Artists Collective. These books aim to inculcate critical thinking and creativity amongst their students. Designed in both urdu and english, the teacher manual as well as the supporting activity book for children contains activities that encourage curiosity, open mindedness, imaginative thinking and problem solving through art.

Catalog Design for Vasl Artists' Collective for the year 2016: Vasl was established as an artist’ collective in 2001. It is affiliated with the Triangle Network, UK. Triangle is an international network of artists and arts organizations that promotes dialogue, exchange of ideas and innovation within the contemporary visual art. Vasl provides an international platform to Pakistani artists and to contemporary art in Pakistan. It is committed to creating a space for experimentation and exchange in artistic practice. In the last fifteen years, Vasl’s ongoing activities have included international workshops, local and international residencies, educational out-reach programs, art for public and other events. In the past 15 years, more than 500 international and local artists have undertaken Vasl residencies, workshops, and local projects of significance.

Residency Artist Journal
TOLET Taaza Tareen 8 is a local residency for emerging fine artists in Pakistan, hosted by Vasl Artists' Collective. This artist journal is a hand crafted edition (one of 10 copies) created for the artists to sketch and walk around the city with. The journal is made of multiple kinds of paper, including recycled paper, gift wrappers, coloured sheets, transparencies, maps that fold out, newspaper cuttings, cut outs, and blotting paper to sketch and doodle on, in the form of a rough introduction to the city of Karachi.

Texture/Vision
Texture/Vision is an experimental publication design that covers the research conducted by Zahra Malkani and Shahana Rajani as part of their Gadap Sessions held at the Karachi Art Anti University in collaboration with the Karachi Indigenous Rights Alliance. This publication was designed during their Vasl Residency 'Urbanities' in December 2016.

Vasl Artists' Collective Catalog
Vasl provides an international platform to Pakistani artists and contemporary art in Pakistan. It is committed to creating a space for experimentation and exchange in artistic practice. In the last fourteen years, Vasl’s ongoing activities have included international workshops, local and international residencies, educational outreach programs, art for public and other events. This catalog is an archival book of 7 years of their work in this field. This project covers selected pages of the publication.

The Thinking Classroom is a teacher training program me by the Teachers Resource Center (TRC), supported by the Open Society Foundations (OSF). This publication overviews the impact study carried out as part of this project to analyze how fruitful the training proved to be.
